. ty. I have a brother, Micah, who
1 is mentally retarded. He's really
1 nice and he has a really good
1 memory. We call him our Franklin
Planner. He'll ask so many que's-
1 tions, and that's how he gets a lot
of information. In some ways, he's
I like everybody else. But in other
ays he's not.
."My definition of 'disability' is
something someone has to work
on a little longer. My brother is
beginning to learn many things —
I he can find some words in the
newspaper — but he's 1 3; he just
had his bar mitzvah.
"He has made improvements
since last year. Sometimes I help
him with his homework, and some-
: times we play that's also learning.
1 We play at swimming, but also I
am helping teach him."
