Re-elected as president was Stuart J. Snider. Other officers for the coming year are: vice presidents, Robert M. Citrin and Laurie Frankel; treasurer, Arthur Liss; secretary David Wallace. Midrasha Classes Set The Midrasha Center for Adult Jewish Studies-Agency for Jewish Education will hold Hebrew classes in the fall. Classes will begin the week of Sept. 13, at the Agency for Jewish Education, 21550 West 12 Mile Road, Southfield, and the Kahn Jewish Community Center. Two special Hebrew language and literature classes are offered on Sundays, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and on Wednesday, 10 a.m.-noon, for students who are fluent in Hebrew, Hebrew teachers who wish to improve their comprehension and conversational skills and anyone wishing to participate in advanced Hebrew study. Institute Plans Pot Luck Supper The Sholem Aleichem Institute will open the new season with a pot luck supper 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at the Franklin Pointe Clubhouse, 26361 Franklin Pointe Drive in Southfield. Members and friends are invited to take part and hear about plans for the year's activities. The SAI's annual holiday assem- blies will be held at Orchard Lake Middle School, 6000 Orchard Lake Road, West Bloomfield. The sched- ule is as follows: Rosh Hashanah: Monday, Sept. 2 1 , 1 0 a.m.-noon; Kol Nidre: Tuesday, Sept. 29, 8 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.: Yom Kippur: Wednesday. Sepr. 30, 10 a.m.-noon. The public is invited.
