Bryan Binder was called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah at Temple Shir
Shalom on Saturday, Sept. 5. Bryan is
the son of Lisa and
Steven Binder, broth-
er to Jamie and Mor-
gan, and grandson of
Sanford and Lynn
Kirsch, Geraldine
Binder and the late
Melvin L. Binder.
Bryan is an honor
student at Warner
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
He enjoys acting, sports, hanging with
friends, band and spending his sum-
mers at Camp Tamakwa.
Bryan's mitzvah projects included
volunteering at Temple Israel's Sum-
mer Camp and assisting preschoolers.
He donated the money that would
have been spent on his Chanukah gifts
to charity.
A party was given in Bryan's honor
on Sunday, Sept. 6, at the Doubletree
