Time again for the yearly Jewish Federation-Young Adult Division boat cruise, and what a time it was. Before the boat even set sail on Tuesday evening, Aug. 25, a group of women from the 1998 United Jewish Appeal singles mission to Israel let out a collective scream and jumped to the makeshift dance planks. For some, the evening was yet another in a long line of frequent reunions for the singles mission participants. For others, it was an opportunity to meet other young adults and get to know an ever- changing facet of the Jewish community. The boat cruised along calm waters toward Lake Erie, then, with YAD president Eric Gould at the helm, it turned back toward familiar port, heading toward the Ambassador Bridge and brightly lit RenCen skyline before docking._ ❑ Waiting patiently in line to board the boat.
