Designer Showhouse will be open to
the public from Oct. 3 through Oct.
25. This showhouse will take place at
the Albert Kahn-designed home at
150 W. Boston Blvd. in Detroit. It
was the former home of Sophie and
Benjamin Siegel, owners of the B.
Siegel clothing store.
FOREST DUNES
Forest Dunes Golf and Country
Club recently celebrated the opening
of its downtown Birmingham mar-
keting center with Tom Weiskopf, a
senior PGA player. Weiskopf unveiled
plans for the spectacular golf course
which will be part of Forest Dunes
Golf and Country Club, a private
residential development in Crawford
County, Mich., located more than
two hours away from Detroit. Some
of the people spotted in the crowd at
the opening included Coleman and
Judy Verona, the Binders, Caryn
Satovsky-Siegel, Marj Jackson Levin,
Arnold and Nancy Shapero, Michael
Miller, Leslie Lewiston and Chuck
Kessler.
