Auxiliary Plans
Fall Meeting

The Auxiliary for Jewish Aged of the
Jewish Home and Aging Services will
hold its annual fall opening meeting
10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at
Temple Beth El.
This event will feature "Prime
Time Men," local professional men
addressing their life's work and mem-
orable moments. They are: "Big Al"
Muskovitz, radio personality,
WOMC 104.3; Don Shane, sports-
caster, WXYZ-TV; Jeffrey Zaslow,
columnist, Chicago Sun Times.
The cost; donor $20, Patron $36
(this includes boutiques, brunch and
program). The community is wel-

Religious School
At B'nai David

Congregation B'nai David will open
its religious school under the direc-
tion of Cantor Ben-Zion Lanxner.
The goal is that every child
enrolled from the third grade on will
read Hebrew fluently after one year
or money back guaranteed. Free

kindergarten for everyone; 2 or 3 day
per week program, at family's option.
The school will also offer for the
bar and bat mitzvah students a com-
puterized method called
"Cybertrops."
The new Stone Chumash edition
will be given free to anyone register-
ing their child/ren by bringing this
article as a special promotion.
Classes will begin 4:30 Tuesday,
Sept. 8 for the 2-day program, classes
will be held 9-11 a.m. Sundays and
4:30-6:15 p.m. Tuesdays. For the 3-
day program, same as above plus
Thursdays from 4:30-6:15 p.m.

In addition to a meal, bubbie's
will be able to put together a brag
book of their grandchildren.
Participants are asked to bring
four to six pictures that they wish to
include in their book.
There is a $5 fee, which includes
