Leven Ors Hispanic Scholarships Scholarship awards directed specifically to Hispanic graduating seniors from Detroit's Western International and Southwestern high schools were recently granted by the Myron P Leven Hispanic Scholarship Program. The pro- gram, sponsored by Attorney Myron P Leven, since 1985 has Myron 1? Leven given 216 scholar- ships in the amounts of $1000 and 5500 to the Hispanic high school gradu- ating seniors who can qualify academi- cally and who have a financial need. In addition to the Hispanic scholar- ships, Leven recently gave an additional $100,000 to Wayne State University for Hispanic students with bachelor degrees who seek advanced degrees.
