ents are Murray and Annette Sack of
West Bloomfield and Morry and Esther
Wexler of Boca Raton, Fla. Jordyn is
also the granddaughter of the late Mar-
cia Wexler. Proud great-grandmother is
Freida Walker of Scottsdale, Ariz. Jor-
dyn is named in memory of her mater-
nal great-uncle Dr. Jacob A. Sill and her
paternal great-aunt Ruth Blum.

Denise Garden and Garry Turner of
Ann Arbor have been blessed with a
beautiful baby girl, Danielle Naomi.

Tara Zdrojewski
Tara Lynn Zdrojewski, daughter of
Randy and Alisa Zdrojewski, will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Sunday, Aug. 23.
The service, con-
ducted by Tara's
uncles, Martin Lieb-
man of Farmington
Hills and Jonathan
Liebman of West
Bloomfield, will take
place at the Longacre
House in Farmington
Hills. Tara's great-uncle Sidney Beshkin
of Boston will lead the Hallel Service.
Tara's sister Rana will lead various
prayers. Honors will be given to Ronald
Cohen, Morris Starkman, Julian Lieb-
man, Michael Dorfman and Irving
Goldfein. Tara's proud grandparents are
Julian and Celia Liebman of Southfield.
Also honored, in memoriam, will be
Tara's twin sister Alexandra.
In a D'var Torah, Tara will discuss
the importance of teshuva (repentance).
Tara will enter the seventh grade at
Hillel Day School. She rides horses and
loves animals, and volunteers weekly in
a program teaching disabled children to
ride horses. Tara is active in music and
theater, performing regularly with the
Marquis Theater in Northville.

Michelle Markowitz
Michelle Brooke Markowitz will be
called to the Torah on Saturday, Aug.
22, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
Michelle's parents are Andrew and
Linda Markowitz of West Bloomfield.
Her sisters are Amanda, Rachel and
Sarah.

Michelle was an honor student at
Clifford Smart Middle School and will
attend Walnut Creek Middle School in
the fall. Her interests are music, singing,
theater, violin, writing and drawing. She
was a member of the Shaarey Zedek
Youth Choir.
Michelle will donate music for differ-
ent charities in honor of her bat mitz-
vah. Michelle's mitzvahs have included
making dolls for Hadassah, delivering
meals on Christmas Day for the Salva-
tion Army, singing at the Federation,
planting flowers for the Laker Building,
being a co-camp counselor for Camp
Betman at Shaarey Zedek.

Joshua Kaplan
Joshua Adam Kaplan will celebrate his
bar mitzvah on Friday, Aug. 28, at Tem-
ple Israel. He is the son of Andrea
Kaplan and Allan
Kaplan, brother of
Darryl and Jenica and
grandchild of Dee
and Shel Cornfield, -
Barbara and Jack
Ginsburg, Dorothy
and Simon Zeldes
and the late David
Kaplan.

His most meaningful mitzvah pro-
ject was to collect clothing for the
needy which was donated to the Salva-
tion Army. An honor roll student at
Orchard Lake Middle School, Joshua is
interested in all sports and collects bas
ketball cards.

Molly Glick
Molly Glick will be called to the Torah
as a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Aug. 22,
at Congregation B'nai Moshe. Molly is
the daughter of Lori
and Steven Glick and
the sister of Max.
Proud grandparents
are Jean and Edward
Friedman and
Dorothy Glick. Molly
is also the grandchild
of the late Michael
Glick.
Molly is an honor student at Warner
Middle School. She enjoys the comput-
er, dancing, music, movies, reading and
being with her friends. Her mitzvah
