"Israeli Folk Dancing" is taught by
Sonny Siegal Tuesday evenings from
7-8 p.m. and 8-10 p.m. and costs $2
per class.

Program Set

.41. recruitment meeting for Michigan
Miracle Mission III to Israel will take
place 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at
the Max M. Fisher Federation
Building.
Mission Chair Ben Rosenthal will
report on his recent trip to Israel.
Mission co-chairs Kathy Wilson-Fink
and Ron Klein will offer information
about the application process, baggage
check-in, transportation and passports.
Those who were on missions this
summer will share their experiences.
Michigan Miracle Mission III will
take place April 18-28, 1999, flying
direct from Detroit on El Al. Cost is
$2,995 per person, based on double
occupancy. Those who pay in full by
Oct. 15 will receive a $100 discount.
(Single room supplement is $865.)
Michigan residents of college age
and older are invited to participate.
Michigan Miracle Mission III is
sponsored by the Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit with the support
of The Detroit Jewish News and many
local congregations and organizations.

For twenty-two years, Temple Beth El
has assured access to a religious educa-
tion for children with special needs.
This year is no exception.
Special needs children from pre-
kindergarten through high school are
welcome in a Temple Beth El program
which emphasizes Jewish history and
values and allows students the oppor-
tunity to create Jewish art, feast on
Jewish cooking and enjoy Jewish
music with Cantor Stephen Dubov.
Classes are led by certified special edu-
cation -teachers.
Classes for pre-kindergarten
through grade six will meet on
Sundays from 9:30 a.m. until noon.
Sessions for students in grades seven
through 12 are held on Monday
evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. Students
also will participate in school-wide
programs and activities.
Temple membership is not a
requirement for participation in the
program. For information or to reg-

SPACE for Changing Families, a non-
sectarian community service project of
National Council of Jewish Women,

Barbecue Set

Habonim Dror's first activity will be a
"Kupa Supper," a pot-luck barbecue
dinner 4-6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30,
at the Village Athletic Club on
Saratoga (between 11 and 12 Mile).
There will be a $3 per-person or
$10 per-family entrance fee.
