Chasnick-Hortick

Deborah Ann Hortick and David
Aaron Chasnick were recently married
at Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
Rabbi Groner, Cantor Naijman and
Cantor Rube of Congregation Shaarey
Zedek and Rabbi Syme and Cantor
Dubov of Temple Beth El officiated.
Deborah Ann is the daughter of
Harvey and Marilyn Hortick of
Bloomfield Hills. David Aaron is the
son of Diane and Irving Chasnick of
Southfield.
Terri Stearn, cousin of the bride,
was the matron of honor. Marjorie
White, close friend of the bride, was
the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were
Wendy Nelson of Las Vegas, Nev.;
Deborah Kaner of West Bloomfield;
Dawn Sherr of West Bloomfield; and
Kimberlee Rubin of Chicago, all long-
time friends of the bride. Junior

bridesmaid was Caryn Russman, niece
of the groom.
Matthew Chasnick, brother of the
groom, was the best man. Grooms-
men were Frederick and Martin
Hortick, twin brothers of the bride;
Lawrence Russman, brother-in-law of
the groom; Eran Singer of Chicago;
Michael Singer of Farmington Hills;
and Paul Cohen of Waterford. Junior
groomsmen were Charles and Adam
Russman, nephews of the groom.
Also participating in the ceremony
were the bride's grandfather, Herbert
Liner and his wife Shirley, and the
groom's grandmother Sarene Mazer
and her husband Nathan.
Following a honeymoon in Disney
World and ending with a cruise in the
western Caribbean, the couple now
reside in West Bloomfield.

Herman 50th

Helen and Irving Herman of West
Bloomfield celebrated their 50th
anniversary on a cruise with their
children, Larry and Diane Herman,
Bruce and Vicki Herman and Sherri
and Gary Snobel, as well as their

grandchildren, Reuven, Shoshana,
Aaron, Ben, Gregory, Gabriele and
Zachary. A renewal of vows at Con-
gregation Beth Shalom will be fol-
lowed by a luncheon for family and
friends.
