He was a World War II Army veteran and received the American Defense Service and Theater. Ribbons, Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with two Bronze Battle Stars, a Bronze Service Arrowhead and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Battle Star. He was a mem- ber of the American Legion Post 271 and VFW Post 3941. Mr. Freedman is survived by his wife, Dora Freedman; sons and daughter-in- law, Harvey Freedman of West Bloom- field, Alan and Karen Freedman of Northville and granddaughter, Marie Freedman.
