Bel Canto Group
Holds Auditions

The Bel Canto Choral Group is
preparing for the 1998-1999 season
and invites women who read music
and enjoy singing to join the group,
performing light classical, show tunes
and seasonal favorites.
Rehearsals take place on Monday
evenings during the September to
June season in Southfield.
Performances are scheduled as con-
tracted. Bel Canto is a non-profit

Pearlena and Dr. Jason Bodzin will be
remembered for a long time.
Not only for their volunteer work but
also for their financial commitment to
meeting the needs of older adults. With
their contribution to the Irving A. Rubin
Jewish Community Trust for the Elderly,
service gaps will be filled for this fastest
growing segment of our community.
For the Bodzins, it's a win-win
situation: Older adults receive the care
they need, and the Bodzins reap the finan-
cial benefits of creating an endowment.
And as the Bodzins say, doing good deeds
is the best way to be remembered.
You, too, can leave a legacy to
our community. With an endowment
or a testamentary gift through your

will or trust, you can ensure a Jewish future
for our people here and around the world.
In the Book of Life, a collection of the
thoughts of Detroit's charitable families, the
Bodzins tell why giving tzedakah is a
"Jewish thing to do."
Everyone who creates a fund through the
Federated Endowment Fund is eligible to
contribute a page to this beautiful leather-
bound book. Besides having the opportunity
to help write our community's history, donors
will receive a replica page for framing.
Be remembered. Let your family share in
the history of support for our community. For
information, call the Federated Endowment
Fund office, (248) 642-4260.
