The Art Of Baseball
The University of Michigan Museum of Art combines baseball and art in a
Family Day celebration that asks the intriguing question: What do baseball and
art have in common? The afternoon includes a chance to meet members of the
U-M baseball team, baseball art projects and musical, dance and theater perfor-

Temple Israel's outdoor summer music festival continues with this year's Keffy
Orbach Concert, "An Afternoon of Music from Broadway," in the Wasserman
Pavilion. The Detroit Concert Choir, conducted by Gordon Nelson and featur-
ing Cantor Harold Orbach, will highlight melodies by Cole Porter. Bring lawn

Dixie Melodies
Doug Jacobs and the Red Garter Band bring the sounds of Dixieland to Oak

Bluegrass At Meadow Brook
Mandolin player David Grisman brought the house down with fiddle player
Doc Watson at this year's Ann Arbor Folk Festival. Now he brings bluegrass to
the Meadow Brook Music Festival in a performance with the David Grisman .

Rooftops," the first annual Dream Cruise preview party, comes to Birmingham.

admission), and the Community House hosts the Auto Barons party with cater-
