Engagements

Lupovitch-Foster

Mrs. Joy Foster of Dundas, Ontario,
is happy to announce the engagement
of her daughter Marni Rebecca to Dr.
Howard Lupovitch, son of Dr. Aaron
and Rochelle Lupovitch of West
Bloomfield. Marni also is the daughter
of the late Barry Foster.
Marni earned a bachelor of arts
degree in sociology from McMaster
University in Hamilton, Ontario, and
spent several years in restaurant man-
agement in Canada.

Howard earned a bachelor of arts
degree in history and music from the
University of Michigan and a doctor
of philosophy degree in history from
Columbia University. Beginning this
fall he will hold the Pulver Family
Chair in Jewish History at Colby Col-
lege.
An August wedding is planned in
Hamilton, Ontario, after which the
couple will reside in Waterville,
Maine.

Mindell-Rosenblatt

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Mindell of
Franklin are pleased to announce the
engagement of their daughter Deb-
bie to Marc H. Rosenblatt, son of
Dr. and Mrs. Gary Rosenblatt of
West Bloomfield.
Debbie earned an undergraduate
degree from the Ufiiversity of Michi-
gan and a master's of social work
degree form Wayne State University.

She is employed at Royal Oak Beau-
mont Hospital as a critical care
social worker. Marc earned his
undergraduate degree from the Uni-
versity of Michigan and is the princi-
pal of Verbal Paper, a technical writ-
ing and marketing consulting com-
pany.
A September wedding is planned at
the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dearborn.
