• Obituaries when so sorry is not enough SOL FREEDMAN, 88, of Farming- ton Hills, died July 28. He was a vet- eran of World War II, who served in England with the eighth Air Force. He was a well known sportsman and gaming expert in Detroit and Las Vegas, where he lived for many years. He is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law, Murray Freedman of Lakeworth, Fla., Hyman and Ruth Freedman of Virginia Beach, Va.; sis- ter, Ann Markman of Oak Park; nieces and nephews, Diane Reid, Terry Markman, Gerald (Carol) Freedman, Stuart (Paulette) Freed- man; loving great-nieces and great- nephews and their children.
