Campaign, the
Detroit Jewish
community's
largest fund-raising
appeal.

Linda Klein
Klein is secretary
of Federation's
Board of
Governors. She
chaired
Federation's
Business and
Professional
Women, was a co-
chair of Michigan
Miracle Mission II Peter Alter
and serves on sev-
eral Federation endowment committees.
Klein is a past president of Jewish
Vocational Service. Her other affilia-
tions include Greater Detroit Section of
the National Council of Jewish
Women, Detroit Artists Market, Music
Hall_
Ha - Center for the Performing Arts
and Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer
Institute (formerly Michigan Cancer
Foundation).
Alter is a Federation vice-president, a
member of its executive committee and
a recipient of its Frank A. Wetsman
Leadership Award. He also co-chaired
Federation's Financial Resource
Development Committee and the
Michigan/Central Galilee Partnership
2000 Steering Committee. He was
national chair of the United Jewish
Appeal Young Leadership Cabinet
Washington Conference and has been
involved in many UJA programs. Alter
also was national chairman of Project
Otzma, serves on the steering commit-
tee of the North American Jewish
Forum and is a past president of the
Anti-Defamation League of Michigan
and vice-chairman of the ADL national
executive committee.
