Elects Stark

Walter Stark was recently installed as
president of Temple Emanu-El's
EMES, Emanu-El's Mature and
Exciting Set. Stark is a longtime
member of Temple Emanu-El and
has served on its board, as well as var-
ious committees.
Serving with Mr. Stark will be
Richard Heavenrich, treasurer; Joyce
Schulman, recording secretary; Lillian
Polk, corresponding secretary. Newly
installed board members Lillian Fox,
Adela Gold, Marian Mann, Thelma
Rosenbaum, Carl Dibble and Morton
Wolin join the returning board mem-
bers, Beatrice Sacks, Elaine Stein,
Maxwell Stettner. Llyod Strausz and
Dorothy Weiner.

tion of the week and related matters
can be obtained by sending an e-mail

The portion will be sent on
Fridays and will feature candlelight-
ing time in the Detroit area, Chasidic
insights into the Torah portion of the
week, relevant Jewish law and a short
Chasidic story. _
