Because those women won't prac- tice breast self-examination regularly. Those women. particularly those over 35, won' ask their doctor about a mammogram. Life is just too wonderful to give up on. And. as I found out, you don't have to give up on any of it. Not work. not play, not even romance. Oh, there is one thing, though. Dr. Bennish was a cardiologist with offices at Town Center in Southfield. He was a graduate of the University of Michi- gan Medical School in 1954. He was a member of the American Heart Asso- ciation and was very active in cardiol- ogy research. Dr. Bennish is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dolores Bennish; son and daughter-in-law, Ethan and Chris Bennish of Warren; daughter, Mara Bennish of Chicago; grandchildren, Jason, Sarah and Paige Bennish; sister and brother-in-law, Bettye and Sol Carr of Farmington Hills.
