Gladys and Larry Rockind of West

engagement of their son, Neil Rockind
to Karen Bove of Beverly Hills.
Karen is the creator and owner of
Korenda Salon, an Aveda-Concept
Hair Salon.
Neil received his bachelor's degree
from the University of Michigan and
juris doctor from Wayne State Univer-

sity Law School. A former assistant
prosecutor in the Oakland County
Prosecutor's Office, he currently prac-
tices law for the firm of Fried, Saper-
stein & Kriger, P.C. in Southfield. He
is also a legal analyst for a local televi-
sion station.
The couple will wed at Adat Shalom
in November 1998 and will honey-
moon in Israel.
