French Canadian Quality Eliu v' Eliu, the metro-wide adult Jewish learning project will offer conversational Hebrew classes for adults this summer, taught by Ahuva Newman. A beginner conversational Hebrew series is in progress on Monday nights through Aug. 3. New students are welcome to join the group and I prorate tuition. Basic familiarity with the alef-bet is a prerequisite. The class meets from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in a private home in Southfield. Tuition for each two-hour session is $15 for Eilu v' Eilu members and $18 for others. In addition, an intensive interme- diate conversational Hebrew seminar will be offered on Thursday nights from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., if there is sufficient enrollment.
