The Jeanette ad Oscar Cook Endowment Fund for Michigan Region BBYO
has been created through a gift of $100,000 from the Ben N. Teitel
Charitable Trust. The Endowment will help fund BBYO Advisor Israel
Missions, beginning in the summer of 1999, as an incentive to encourage
Jewish adults to volunteer as advisors to AZA, BBG and BBYO chapters in
Michigan Region.

The Charles & Frances Driker
Yiddish Culture Fund will sponsor a
variety of Yiddish tunes by Detroit
native Sam Barnett 1 p.m. Thursday,
July 23. This program is free of
charge. Tickets will be issued at the
front desk.
Cafe Europa Detroit will be held at
12:45 p.m. Monday, July 27. Lira, a
trio from the former Soviet Union will
sing Yiddish and Israeli tunes.
Donations will be accepted.
"Fabs" Kaldobsky will lead a discus-
sion 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28 on
world' famous composers and their
music. There is no charge.
A sing-along will be held 1 p.m.
Thursday, July 30 with songwriter and
recording artist Geri Green. This pro-
