students got a head start on the summer travel season.
I
n the last week
of the academic
year, Yeshivos
Darchei Torah
students embarked on
a whirlwind world
tour, carrying pass-
ports and tickets and
returning with appro-
priate memorabilia.
All without leaving
school.
Students in each
class chose a specific
region of the world to
study, collected rele-
vant souvenirs from
that region's countries,
prepared international
cuisine and then deco-
rated their classrooms.
On travel day, they
took turns visiting
other classes and shar-
ing what they had
learned. To enhance
the experience, each
student had a con-
struction-paper "pass-
port" stamped as she
entered the new
country.
The Jewish News
joined the tourists at
the girls' school. Bon
voyage!
