ROSE SAKS, 86, of Long Beach, N.Y.,

formerly of Detroit, died June 30.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Morris and. Ellen
Saks of Long Beach, Hershel and Judy
Saks of Oak Park; brothers, Shalom
Ralph of Oak Park, Ephraim Ralph of
Bronx, N.Y.; eight grandchildren.
Mrs. Saks was the beloved wife of the
late Samuel Saks.

interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

LEONARD F SAXON, 69, former

Detroiter of Temecula, Calif., died
June 12. He graduated from Central
High School and served in the U.S.
Army in the Korean conflict. Before
he retired last year, Mr. Saxon was a
manager with the Independent Order
of Foresters.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly
of Hemet, Calif.; son, Scot Saxon of
Hemet; daughters, Marla Sherman of
Moorpark, Calif., Shelli Schectman of
Las Vegas, Nev.; stepchildren, Sandy
Gordon of Columbia, Md., Steven
Gordon of North hollywood, Calif.;
mother, Marion Blondy, former
Detroiter, of Sun City, Calif.; six
grandchildren.

SARAH E. SEBULSKY, 2, of Lake

Forest, Ill., died June 25.
She is survived by her parents, Alan
and Susan (Melton) Sebulsky; sister,
Allison; brother, David; grandparents,
Billie and Erwin Melton of West
Bloomfield; grandmother, Jean Sebul-
sky of Memphis, Tenn. Services at
North Shore Congregation Israel in
Glencoe, Ill.

CARL EDWARD SOMLYO, 43, of

Oak Park, died July 3. Mr. Somlyo
was a graphic artist. He was a lifetime
member of Temple Israel and a board
member of the Couples Club.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela
Somlyo; daughter, Nikki Bloom;
mother, Sarah Somlyo of Fla.; brother,
Barry Somlyo of Kansas; nieces and
nephews, Rachel and Rebekah Som-
lyo, Rachel Goldrrian, John Ghawi;
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
David and Melissa Goldman, Alan
and Karen Goldmati, Jacqueline and
Charles Ghawi; mother-in-law and
father-in-law, Beverly and Robert
Goldman. He was the loving son of
the late Harold Somlyo.

RUTH WALLER STYER, of Bay

Harbor Islands, Fla., died June 20.
