The couple have two daughters, Shira in Maryland who works for the Moriah Fund and has their two grand- children, and Rina in Cincinnati, who was married last weekend. They also have six "children" who were interna- tional exchange students living with them over the years. The Sapersteins recently returned from Europe where they visited some of their "kids." Beyond work and volunteer activi- ties, 61-year-old Saperstein expends her considerable energy by taking long-distance bike treks with her hus- band. When she retires, she says she wants to join the Peace Corps. But now she's content to continue the good work in Highland Park.
