The Detroit Chapter of Men's
American ORT will hold its annual
Rub-a-Dub dinner auction 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 9, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek in Southfield.
The silent auction will be followed
by dinner at 7 p.m. and the live auc-
tion at 7:45 p.m. Tickets are $75 per
person and reservations may be made
by calling the ORT office, (248) 681-
7587. All profits benefit ORT stu-
dents and schools in 60 countries
around the world.

Torah Center
Summer Plans

Sarah Tugman Bais Chabad Torah
Center will sponsor Camp Tuli, a day
camp for boys age 13-16. The camp
will meet daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
for three weeks, starting Monday, Aug.
4. The program will include Jewish
studies, sports, and daily outings, with
special events such as a Tigers game,
overnights, barbecues, and a trip to
Cedar Point. Tuli Silberberg will be
the head counselor. For information

Catriel Sugarman, an artist of
exclusive Judaica, has created an exact
model of the Second Bais Hamikdash
(Holy Temple). Sarah Tugman Bais
Chabad Torah Center will host
Sugarman with his slide show and
commentary 7 p.m. Sunday, July 12,
at the Torah Center, 5595 West
Maple Road, in West Bloomfield.
There will be a charge. For informa-

The Women's Shabbos Torah
Study Group of Sarah Tugman Bais
Chabad Torah Center will meet 5:30
p.m. Saturday, July 4, at the home of
Dr. Ellen Sawilowsky, 6718
Cottonwood Knoll in West
Bloomfield. Chaya Sarah Silberberg
will discuss Pirkei Avot (Ethics of the
Fathers). Light refreshments will be
served. All women are invited to
join.
