Grosse Ile Golfer
Makes Her Mark

Katherine Lott, a 1997 graduate of
Grosse Ile High School, finished the
'ear as the top freshman golfer and
fifth overall at James Madison Univer-
sity, in Harrisonburg, Va.
Lott helped JMU to a team title at
the William and Mary Invitational in
March. Her best individual perfor-
mance was at the JMU Invitational
where she finished in fifth place with a
one—round score of 78.
Lott, whose family are members of
/ - 3eth Isaac Synagogue in Trenton, was
a four-time All-State selection in high
school and twice finished second in
the Class B-C-D state meet.
