kiva Hebrew Day School and the Sally
Allan Alexander Beth Jacob School for
Girls recently ushered their high school
seniors into the big world.
Beth Jacob, the girls' school of Yeshiva Beth
Yehudah, handed diplomas to 27 young women
in the Berkley High School auditorium on June
14. Most of the graduates will spend next year
studying in seminaries in Israel.
Akiva celebrated the graduation of 10 stu-
dents on June 15 at the Agency for Jewish
Education auditorium. Four of Akiva's new
alumni are bound for Israel, while the other six
will be starting college this fall in universities
around the United States.
