rarely believed in God's promises
/– when tested with obstacles. They were
quick to disregard Moses and Aaron
when others sought to undermine
their leadership — always quick to
believe the false promises of others.
Why is this so? Can it be attributed to
a distrust in the leadership of the
Egyptians? Over many decades, those
in Egyptian leadership kept them in
slavery and brutalized them. This
could be why they did not believe
their own leadership.
