Sklar of Farmington Hills and the late
Lawrence Sklar. Vernon is the son of
Maurice Gordon of Dayton and the
late Maxine Gordon.
Vernon's father was his best man.
\ Maid of honor was Karen's sister Val.
Bridesmaids were Donna L. Sklar, sis-
ter-in-law of the bride; Helene Gor-
don and Sharon Natarus, sisters of the
groom, Julie Goldman, Shelly Katz,
Melissa Mandel and Carla Primo.
Ushers were Mark Natarus, brother-
in-law of the groom; Stuart Sklar,
brother of the bride; Steve Bernstein,
H. Joshua Chaet and Bradford Vor-
\nbeck. Also participating in the cere-
mony was the bride's grandmother,
Esther Goldenberg; niece and
nephews, Michael and Aaron Natarus,
Emily and Alex Sklar.
Following a honeymoon to Can-
cun, the couple reside in Farmington
Hills.

ing Brian's bar mitzvah.

followed by a stay in London.

Southfield, whose 50th wedding
anniversary will occur on June 27,
started celebrating last February at a
surprise party in Sarasota, Fla.,
together with three other couples also
marking their 50th year of marital
bliss.
The festivities continued for the
Rosenbaums last month at a dinner at
,-:Cafe Cortina, given by their children,
Barry and Linda Rosenbaum of West
Bloomfield, Stephen and Aileen
Rosenbaum/Alfandary of Berkeley,
Calif., and Susan and Tom Rosen-
baum/Collicott of Seattle, Wash. Also

sary with a trip to Alaska this sum-
mer. Their children are Judy and
