Plans Classes

Mission Plans
Are Formulated

Congregation Bais Chabad of Farming-
ton Hills will offer a class on "Learning
an Entire Tractate of Talmud" in eight
lessons. Rabbi Chaim Bergstein will
teach the class 8-9 p.m. Tuesday
evenings beginning June 23, at the syna-
gogue, 32000 Middlebelt Road, Farm-
ington Hills.
A class on Chassidic meditation part
two (intermediate) will be offered 8:30-
9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning
June 24.

A Michigan Miracle Mission III to
Israel information meeting will be 7:30
p.m. Monday, June 29, at the Max M.
Fisher Federation Building.
The mission will take place April
18-28, 1999.
Applications and brochures will be
available. Geared for Michigan resi-
dents of college age and older, the mis-
sion will begin in Tel Aviv in time for
the country-wide celebration of Yom
Ha'atzma'ut, Israel Independence Day.
Young adults — single and married —
can choose to be on their own bus
with an itinerary geared to their inter-
ests.
Price for the trip is $2,995 per per-
son, double occupancy, with a $100
discount if paid in full by Oct. 15.
Single-room supplement is $865.
Flights will be direct from Detroit to
Israel via El Al.

Michigan Miracle Mission III is

Summer Plans

Hillel of Metro Detroit works with stu-
dents from all of the schools in the
metro Detroit area. Students who will
be attending Wayne State University,
Oakland University, Oakland Commu-
nity College, Lawrence Technological
University, Eastern Michigan University,
or any other Detroit area school should

HMD has programs going on all
summer for these students as well as stu-
dents who are home from college for the
