\-13 PEARL F BALABAN, 83, former

Detroiter of Bloomington, Ind., died
June 8. She was a life member of
Hadassah and a member of Congrega-
r tion Beth Shalom in Bloomington.
She is survived by her sons,
Richard Balaban of Bloomington,
Robert Balaban of Sudbury, Mass.;
grandsons, David Balaban, Michael
\ Balaban, Stephen Balaban; stepgrand-
\4aughter, Arnie Neff. She was the
eloved wife of the Lte Sol Balaban;
-tar sister of the late May Loomis,
the late Mary Kessler, the late Sam
0andel. Interment was at Valhalla
Memory Gardens. Contributions may
be made to the Bloomington Hospital
Adult Daycare or the American Can-
cer Society. Arrangements by Allen
Funeral Home in Bloomington.

GEORGE BEZ, 82, of West Bloom-
field, died June 13. For 45 years, Mr.
Bez was a pharmacist. He was also a
member of B'nai B'rith, the Michigan
State Pharmaceutical Association and
a Mason.
Mr. Bez is survived by his wife,
Marlene Bez; sons and daughter-in-
law Michael Bez of Southfield, Brian
and Lois Bez of Wixom; daughter, Dr.
Ellen Bez of Guam; grandchildren,
Samantha Terri and Joshua Jeremy
Bez; brother and sister-in-law, Alvin
and Lois Bez of Southfield; nieces and
nephews. He was the dear brother of
the late David Bez, the late Samuel
Bez, the late Betty Rabinowitz and
the late Sylvia Diem.
Interment at Beth El Memorial

the Ira Kaufman Chapel.

Services were held at Machpelah
Cemetery Chapel in Ferndale fol-
lowed by interment in the cemetery.

MORRIS P. FISHMAN, 76, of

Farmington Hills, died June 15.
He is survived by his daughter and
son-in-law, Penny and Harvey Brode
of Farmington Hills; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Eric and Chandra Fishman
of Columbia, Md.; brother, Herbert
Fishman of Monroeville, Pa.; brother-
in-law, Fred Shapiro; grandchildren,
Gary and Heidi Brode. He was the
beloved husband of the late Dorothy
Fishman; brother of the late Dora
Shapiro.
Services were held at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery Chapel in Birming-
ham followed by interment in the
cemetery. Contributions may be made

JACK B. FEDERMAN, 81, of Farm-

ington Hills, died June 11.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Cora Federman; sons and daughter-
in-law, Jeffrey Abbott, Michael and
Honi Abbott; daughters and son-in-
law, Rhonda Abbott, Judy and Don
Blake; grandchildren, Steven, Meryl,
Jason and Ryan; niece, Barbara

DANIEL GROSSMAN, 63, of

Southfield, died June 14. For 15
years, Mr. Grossman was a life insur-
ance salesman for Cincinnati Life. He
was a member of the Southfield
Jaycees and B'nai B'rith and was a
March of Dimes volunteer.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra
Grossman; daughter and son-in-law,
Ilene and Peter Colletti of Livonia;
son, Jay Grossman of Madison
Heights; grandchildren, Natalie and
Emily Colletti; sister and brother-in-
law, Evelyn and Harold Cantor of
West Bloomfield, Zella and Paul
Daughtery. of Wixom; brothers and
sisters-in-law, Samuel and Charlotte
Grossman of Southfield, Joseph and
Gertrude Grossman of Farmington
