written by Marvin Hamlisch with
Marilyn and Alan Bergman.
"In my opinion, it is the definitive
movie memory song," Smith said. "Prob-
ably, the most lovely way of saying [what
it means to go to see a movie] is that
you're getting 'a ticket to dream.' "
