Jennifer Lee Benjamin and Jonathan
Aaron Lax were married at Temple
Beth Emeth, Ann Arbor. Rabbi
Robert Levy and Cantor Ann Zibel-
man Rose officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Jane
and Richard Benjamin of Marietta,
Ga., formerly of Ann Arbor. The
groom is the son of Judie and Jerry
Lax of Ann Arbor.
Bridesmaids were Judy Falit,
Rachel Roth and Melissa Fuller of
Ann Arbor, Jennifer Richards,
Desiree Russell and Heather McAvoy
of Boston, Camille Huszczo of Den-
ver, and Marlies Patzman of San
Francisco.
The best man was Andrew Lax, s,
brother of the groom, of San Francis-
co. Ushers were Tom Jeffries of Ann
Arbor, David Borah and Rick Patz-
man of Boston, Dierk Herbermann
of San Francisco, Marc Schaberg of
Los Angeles, Adam Baru and John
Buatti of Chicago, and Dan Ben-
jamin, brother of the bride of
Nashville, Tenn.
Margot Staebler of Ann Arbor was
the flower girl. Grandparents of the
groom are Beatrice and Oscar Hertz
of West Bloomfield.
Following a honeymoon to north-
ern Michigan the couple returned to
West Roxbury, Mass., where the
groom is a lawyer with Kirkpatrick
and Lockhardt and the bride an
occupational therapist.
Edith and Cantor Joseph Birnholtz,
former Detroiters of Delray Beach,
Fla., recently celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary. Sharing in their
joy are their children, Sue and Sandy
Birnholtz, Marilyn and Mike Franco,
Paula and Mark Birnholtz, and their
grandchildren, Jeremy, Melanie and
Kenny Birnholtz, Bryan and Ashley
Franco and Jordan, Matthew and Eric
Birnholtz.
