Beach, Fla., are delighted to announce
the engagement of their daughter
Ilene Beth to David Eric, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Donald Lakin of West Palm
Beach, Fla., formerly of Oak Park.
Miss Plotkin earned a bachelor of
science degree in food and resource
economics at the University of Flori-
da. She is employed at Oak Hill Farms
in Atlanta. Mr. Lakin earned a bache-
lor of science degree in history as well
as certification in secondary education
at Eastern Michigan University. He is
employed at Atlanta Country Day
School as a teacher and athletic direc-
tor.
A November wedding is planned at
the Eden Roc in Miami Beach.
