Jennifer Bass
Jennifer Michelle Bass will celebrate
her bat mitzvah at Temple Beth El
on Saturday, June 13. Jennifer is the
daughter of
Andrew and
Carol Bass, sister
of Aaron and
granddaughter of
Jeanne Bass, San-
ford Ward and
the late Shirley
Ward.
An honor stu-
dent at Bloom-
field Hills Middle School, Jennifer
participates in a wide variety of actives
including student leadership, forensics
and drama. She is a member of the
school basketball, volleyball and track
team. She enjoys playing piano and
reading.
Her mitzvah projects included par-
ticipating in the Juvenile Diabetes
Walk for a Cure, assisting at Safety
Town, volunteering at Yad Ezra and
the Orchards Holiday Party and help-
ing to reorganize the Detroit Glazer
School Library which was destroyed
by a fire.

David Boorstein
David Alex Boorstein will celebrate his
bar mitzvah at Adat Shalom Syna-
gogue on Saturday, June 13. He is the
son of Dr. Robert
and Ellen
Boorstein, brother
of Zachary. Proud
grandmothers are
Betty Boorstein
and Cecelia Feld-
man. David is
also the grand-
child of the late
William Boorstein
and the late I. Irving Feldman.
Attending Orchard Lake Middle
School, David enjoys basketball, golf,
watersports and music. He volun-
teered at Yad Ezra and received the
Yad Ezra bar mitzvah candle.

Eli Benjamin Boyer will celebrate his
