Special recognition will be given
to past and present chapter presi-
dents and region board members.

The Book Discussion Group of the
Greater Detroit Chapter of Hadassah
will meet 10-11:30 a.m. at the Sarah
and Ralph Davidson Hadassah House,
5030 Orchard Lake Road, West Bloom-
field on the last Monday of each month
through November. The discussions will
be led by Charlene Dawes.
The schedule for the next three dis-
cussions is as follows: June 29, Beach
Music by Pat Conroy; July 27, Samurai's
Garden by Gail Isukiyama; Aug. 31, Jew
In The Lotus by Rodger Kamenetz.

Women's American ORT's Michigan
Region will host Project Reach, an area-
wide Jewish women's response to
domestic violence and children in crisis
7 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at the home of
Jodi Neff.
Project Reach will provide educa-

Morley Witus has been elected presi-
dent of the board of directors of the
Jewish Federation of Washtenaw Coun-
ty. Witus is an attorney for Barris, Scott,
Denn & Driker concentrating his prac-
tice on commercial litigation.
Ira Strumwasser has been elected
president of the board of directors of
the Jewish Community Center of
Washtenaw County. Strumwasser is
executive director and chief executive
officer of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of
Michigan (BCBSM) Foundation.
