Financial Aid For College Jewish Vocational Service (JVS) will host a parent informational meeting on the Jewish Education Loan Service (JELS) and additional financial aid options for college students 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, in the JVS library in Southfield. JELS Coordinator Marvin Berman will discuss how to apply for an inter- est-free loan offered through JELS. JELS is open to metro Detroit area Jew- ish residents and is administered through JVS, Hebrew Free Loan Associ- ation and Jewish Federation of Metro- politan Detroit. Dr. Berman will also address the availability of financial assis- tance through state, federal, institution- al and private sources.
