Emanu-El, Yeshiva Beth
ehudah is looking for a
new building to house its pre-elemen-
tary school programs.
Currently, co-ed nursery school
classes for the Orthodox institution are
held at both the girls' school, Sally
Allan Alexander Beth Jacob, on Ten
Mile Road in Oak Park, and the boys'
school on Lincoln Road in Southfield.
But despite recent renovations, the two
buildings have become overcrowded.

High Schoo in Israel

17,000-square-foot facility for its
nursery programs, is looking at exist-
ing structures as well as vacant lots on
which to build. The search is restricted
to Oak Park and Southfield, around
the Ten Mile corridor, said President
Gary Torgow.
The school is looking for a donor
to fund the project, which Torgow
estimates will cost between $2 million
and $3 million. Currently, the yeshi-
va's buildings are operating at capacity,
with all classrooms in use and tutoring
sessions occurring in every spare cor-
ner, said Mayerfeld. Two additions
have already been made to both the
girls' and boys' campuses, and almost
