MC-Sinai Hospital got
into the golf business in
May, conducting three
clinics for physically chal-
lenged adults.
The three sessions at Beechwoods
Golf Course in Southfield covered
adaptive techniques and equipment,
basic golf lessons, chipping, putting
and driving range practice and a
round of golf on the last day of class.
Sixteen adults participated in the
clinic, conducted by local golf profes-
sionals and sponsored by Sinai's phys-
ical medicine and rehabilitation
department annually since 1991.
