Erwin and Natalie Halpern Eichen of
West Bloomfield are pleased to

Daniel A. Halpern to Wendy Gold-
berg, daughter of Marlene and Sandy
Goldberg of Minneapolis, Minn.
Daniel is also the son of the late Rabbi
Mordecai S. Halpern, former rabbi of
Congregation Beth Shalom, Oak Park.
Daniel is managing director of
LKC Financial Partners, a corporate
finance consulting firm in Minneapo-
lis. He holds a bachelor of arts degree
from the University of Michigan and a
masters in business administration
degree from New York University.
Wendy teaches at the St. Paul Talmud
Torah Day School. She has a bache-
lor's degree from Brandeis University
and a master of arts degree in educa-
tion from the Jewish Theological Sem-
inary of America.
A July wedding is planned in Min-
neapolis, where the couple resides.

and James Michael Sugarman. Barbara

Barbara earned her master's degree
in social work at the University of
Michigan. She is employed at Hospice
of Michigan. James earned a master's
degree in environmental engineering
at the University of Michigan. He is
employed at Ford Motor Company.
James is pursuing a master's degree in
business administration.
A November wedding is planned at
Adat Shalom synagogue.
