Bar/Bat Mitzvahs

June 6, at Temple Israel. She is the
daughter of Monica and Dr. Michael
Klein, sister of Rachel and grandchild of
Beverly and Joseph
Klein and Karen
and Henry Maio-
rano.
Attending
Bloomfield Hills
Middle School,
where she is on the
cross country and
volleyball teams,
Lauren enjoys ski-
ing, ice skating, tennis and art. Her
most meaningful mitzvah project
involved facepainting young children at
the Temple Israel picnic; she particularly
loves working with children.

Noah Stem
Noah Michael Stern will celebrate his
bar mitzvah on Friday, June 5, at Tem-
ple Israel. He is the son of Deborah and
Dr. Milton Stern
and big brother of
Zachary and Max.
Devoted grandpar-
ents are Shirley
and David
Moscow and Lois
Stern. He is also
the grandson of
the late Dr. Frank
Stern.
An honor student at Orchard Lake
Middle School, Noah's interests revolve
around sports, especially soccer, basket-
ball and snowboarding.He visited Fleis-
chman Residence with his dog as part
of his mitzvah projects.

Jessica Frankel
Jessica Lauren Frankel will observe her
bat mitzvah at Temple Israel on Satur-
day, June 6. She is the daughter of
Carol and Dr.
Jerome Frankel,
sister of Jay, Scott,
Jodi, Kevin and
Barrie. Proud
grandparents are
Dorothy Frankel
and Anthony Var-
chetti.
A student at
West Hills Middle
School, where she sings in the choir and
participates in drama, Jessica is a dis-
trict-ranked tennis player, an avid sum-
mer camper and swimmer. Her mitzvah
projects included contributions to the
Holocaust Memorial Center, volunteer-
ing in the Temple Israel school office

and for the Purim carnival, and work-
ing with pre-school children.

Nicole Churchill
Nicole Elise Churchill will become a
bat mitzvah at Havdalah services at
Temple Israel on Saturday, June 6. She
is the daughter of
Vicky and Howard
Fingeroot and sis-
ter of Bradley.
Excited grandpar-
ents are Burton
and Sheila Riss-
man and Annette
Fingeroot. Proud
great-grandparents
are Anna and
Harry Korman.
A student at Abbott Middle School,
Nicole's interests encompass soccer, bas-
ketball, horseback riding and music.
Among her mitzvah projects was assist-
ing in the Temple Israel Sunday school.

Jordan Harris
Jordan Matthew Harris was called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah at Congrega-
tion Beth Shalom on Saturday, May 23.
He is the son of
Richard and
Shirlee Wyman
Harris, brother of
Jason and grand-
son of Edith
Wyman and the
late Irving
Wyman.
Jordan attends
Norup Middle
School, where he plays saxophone in
the concert and js77 bands. He plays
soccer and will be participating in the
Maccabi Games this summer. In addi-
tion to soccer, Jordan plays tennis and
baseball and enjoys bowling, golf, com-
puter games and being online.
For his mitzvah project, Jordan has
volunteered at Menorah House and at
JARC group homes, visiting with the
residents.

Stephanie Rosenbloom
Stephanie Leigh Rosenbloom will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, June 6,
at Temple Kol
Ami. She is the
daughter of June
and Martin
Rosenbloom and
the sister of Eric
and Ilana.
Stephanie is the
granddaughter of
Hannah (Entus)
