Jewish Family Service elects
Kathy Wilson-Fink as its new president.

should go smoothly, Wilson-Fink said.
Karen Fink, the interim executive
director, worked with Goodman for
six weeks before his April 30 departure
to head the' Educational Alliance in
New York.
"We have the luxury of having time
to find the right person for the job,"
she said. "We've seen nationwide
interest in the position. Not many
agencies have the opportunity to make
a management change like this
because they don't have two top peo-
ple stepping away at the same time."

core beliefs of Judaism.
That's why she dedicates
her time to an agency that focuses on
it.
That dedication to Jewish Family
Service is part of what led her to be
chosen the agency's new president at
the May 28 annual meeting.
"The family is where basic Jewish
views are taught," said Wilson-Fink.
"JFS is the vehicle that helps teach
that."
She is taking her new post at a time
of broad change for the organization,
which lost its two top exec-
utives earlier this year and
is searching for replace-
ments.
Wilson-Fink became
involved in the agency after
attending a program that
then-President John Marx-
conducted. She's been a
board member for the past
six years, the last two on
the executive board as a
