On Sunday, June 7, at 7:30 p.m., and
Monday, June 8, at 12:45 p.m., the
1997 Academy Award winning docu-
mentary The Long Wray Home will be
shown at the Jewish Community Cen-
ter in Oak Park.
"A Spring Celebration" sponsored by
Jerome Glassman and family will be
held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 11. The
Sam Barnett Orchestra will entertain,
followed by refreshments. This event is
limited to Jewish Community Center
members and is free of charge. Tickets
are available by showing JCC member-
ship cards at the JPM Building in Oak

The first in a series of three commu-
nity rabbis' discussions will be given by
Rabbi Yoskowitz from Congregation
Beth Achim 1 p.m. Monday, June 15.
Rabbi Yoskowitz will speak on his
"Vision of Israel After 50 Years." This
program is free of charge.
Kosher lunches are served for adults
ages 60 and older, Monday through Fri-

The Wednesday Afternoon Social is
at 1 p.m. weekdays. Broadway show
tunes and Yiddish melodies are present-
ed by a troupe of local entertainers.
Refreshments are served. There is a
nominal charge.
A weekly erev Shabbat program with
Cantor David Gutman takes place on
Fridays at 12:45 p.m. This program is
free of charge.

Henry Morgenthau Chapter, Jewish
Women International, will have its June
luncheon meeting at noon Wednesday,
June 10, at Temple Emanu-El.
The speaker will be Meredith Bratt-
Boylan, a U.S. probation officer, who
will tell about her job.
Members and guests are welcome
and there is a charge. The hostesses for
the luncheon will the Current Issues
Group and the Golf Group. Reserva-

The annual installation meeting and
dinner for the operating board of direc-
tors and officers for the Jewish Home
and Aging Services will be held 6:30
p.m. Tuesday, June 16, at the Fleis-
chman Residence/Blumberg Plaza.
