Susan Alterman was an exemplary role model for the Jewish

well. She was treasurer of the National Council of Jewish
Women, Detroit Section, and for those years performed her
volunteer duties at the NCJW office almost daily. She served

Ann Arbor. He is a First Vice President and Director of NBD
Bank's Private Banking & Investments Center in Ann Arbor. Ken
has been married for I I years to Janisse Nagel and has two

Community Center Board for one year. He is
also a member of the Marketing and Budget &
Finance Committees, and was a member of the
Center's Strategic Planning Group. He also

on a kibbutz in Israel for almost a year after college. She
worked in market research at a major advertising agency in
New York City, Eastern Airlines in Miami, and NBD in Detroit,

until she left the corporate world to raise her son, Owen.

Susan became ill in November, 1995, which resulted in her
death in April, 1997.

West Bloomfield with her husband, Ronald and children,
Zachary and Rachel. She works as a clinical pharmacist for
Coram Alternate Site Services in Plymouth.
