Businessman and mountain climbing enthusiast Louis Kasischke is the Feder-
ation Forum's guest speaker at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. Kasischke
survived the tragic 1996 Mt. Everest climbing expedition that claimed the lives

Color Works

The Oak Park Arts & Cultural Commission holds a reception at the Oak
Park Library for West Bloomfield painter Prudence Bernstein. Her show, titled
"Color Works," features watercolors and mixed media on paper and acrylic.
Bernstein's paintings are brightly colored abstracts. The exhibit opens June 1 and
