Hebrew Classes
For Summer

Eilu v' Eilu, the metro Detroit adult
Jewish learning partnership, will offer
conversational Hebrew classes for
interested adults this summer, taught
by community educator Ahuva New-
man.
Both daytime and evening formats
are available, on various levels from
total beginner to intermediate-
advanced. Minimum enrollment is
required. Tuition is $5 per hour for
Eilu Eilu members; $7 per hour for
others.
Daytime and evening open houses
will be held in June at no charge, for
potential students to meet Ahuva
Newman and discuss possible class
schedules, venues, and levels of
instruction. Additional details will be
announced.

Jewish Humor
Series Starts

Eliu v' Eilu, the adult Jewish learning
partnership will offer an eight-part
Latte & Learning adult study series
with Rabbi Bergman this summer
titled "Jewish Humor-From the
Bible...to the Catskills...to Today."
The series will meet 10-11 a.m.
on Monday mornings, at Borders
Books & Music, 30995 Orchard
Lake Road, Farmington Hills, start-
ing June 8.
Tuition for Eilu Eilu members is
$40 for the series or $5 per session.
Tuition for others is $56 for the series
or $7 per session. No reservations are
necessary, and students may register at
the door. Each session will be designed
to be self-contained and can be
attended and enjoyed independently
of the others.
