Obituaries Arrangements by Hebrew Memorial Chapel. Herbert Kairfinan Jacob Feldman P erhaps there is no greater symbol of Kavod Ha-Met (honoring the dead) than the Shomer, the religious watchman who prays for the soul of the deceased. From the first family we served 57 years ago, to the present, our chapel is staffed with a Shomer 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our legacy is serving Detroit's Jewish community with dignity and adherence to tradition. . • THE IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL Bringing Together Family, Faith & Community The Sholem Ale- THE KAUFMAN COMMUNITY CORNER ichem Institute's Sholem Aleichem Institute — Moishe Jr Memorial Event presents Sue Levitan, Yiddish Folk Singer Annual Moishe Haqi- Memorial Event pre- sents Sue Levitan, performing Yiddish folk songs, Sun., June 7 at 3:00 p.m. at the Agency for Jewish education's LaMed Auditorium, 12 Mile, east of Lahser.
