Golden is a member of the 1997
Class A state champion football
team, Academic All-State and
winner of the football Scholar
Athlete Award. He is a member
of the National Honor Society,
peer mediation and student
council. He has been involved
with the Temple Kol Ami Reli-
gious School for 12 years. He
will attend the University of
Michigan and study pre-business
administration.

Goodman is a captain of the
forensics and debate teams, com-
peting at the state level. His
swim team won two league
championships. He is a member
of National Honor Society, is a
National Merit commended stu-
dent, and a qualifier for the John
S. Knight Debate Scholarship.
He is a member of Adat Shalom
Synagogue and plans to attend
the University of Michigan.

Goutman is an Eagle Scout and
earned the Ner Tamid Award. He
has participated in marching band,
jazz ensemble, forensics, debate s
National Honor Society, Model
United Nations, and mock trial.
He tutors middle school students
and co-chaired a Martin Luther
King Jr. celebration. He will grad-
uate Shaqrey Zedek Hebrew High
School and is a member of USY.
He will study pre-medicine at
Johns Hopkins University.

Graziano is president of Amnesty
International, drum major of the
marching band, saxophone sec-
tion leader of wind ensemble and
a member of People for the Ethi-
cal Treatment of Animals,
National Honor Society, Future
Problem Solvers, pep band and
swing band. She received the
Brecon Cup for her work with
Amnesty and has volunteered for
the YMCA. She will attend Kala-
mazoo College.

Gross is a member of the Nation-
al Board of Young Judea and
administrative vice president of
her region. She is a National
Merit finalist, a Daughters of the
American Revolution Good Citi-
zen, editor-in-chief of her high
school newspaper and a two-time
American Invitational Math
Exam participant. She will attend
the University of Pennsylvania.

Gruber is a member of National
Honor Society, a recipient of a
National Merit special scholar-
ship, and an Optimist Club stu-
dent of the month. She has been
active in Temple Emanu-El's
youth group and served on its
board. She has attended Olin-
Sang-Ruby Union Institute for
seven summers as both a camper
and a staff member. She will
attend the University of Michi-
gan.

Ishakis is a co-chair of her
school's Chessed Program
and
b
was a B'nos youth group leader
for three years. She was active in
her school choir and drama
groups. She is Phi Beta Kappa
and received a Wayne State Uni-
versity Presidential Scholarship.
She plans to study at B'nos
Chava Teachers Seminary in
Israel next year and attend
Wayne State University upon her
return.

Jacobs is a member of National
Honor Society, a National Merit
commended student, and Phi
Beta Kappa. She is a two-time
state champion in forensics (ora-
tory). Active in musical theater,
she sings and rings with the
Andover Jills, who received top
ratings at state level competition.
She is a madricha at Temple
Israel and will attend the Univer-
sity of Michigan Honors Pro-
gram.
