Adat Shalom
Classes Honored

The Adat Shalom Synagogue's confir-
mation and graduation classes of 1998
will be honored at Nosh 'n Drash
Shabbat 6 p.m. on Friday, May 22.
The confirmation students will lead
a Shabbat service. A Shabbat dinner
will follow. Beginning at 8:15 p.m.,
the confirmands will present "Israel: A
Celebration," highlighting Israel's 50
years since statehood. High school stu-
dents will be called to the bimah in
acknowledgement of this year's study,
and graduating seniors will receive
special recognition. Recipients of fam-
ily scholarships for travel to Israel will
also be presented.
