Book Fair

The Birmingham Temple will host its
second annual book fair starting 8 p.m.
Friday, May 15 through Monday, May
18. Admission is free.

Special Honor
For Teacher

Drora Kleinplatz, a veteran teacher in
the Shaarey Zedek school has recently
announced her retirement. She began
teaching at Shaarey Zedek 50 years ago.
She will be honored for her service at
the 12th-grade graduation exercises
7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, when
she will be presented with a special gift
marking this occasion.

Adat Shalom Synagogue will host
Congregation Beth Achim for tours,
tastings and shoomzing 5-8 p.m.
Monday evening, May 18, and Tuesday
evening, June 2.

either date. Families will tour Adat
